Since 1878, The Great Synagogue has been home to a thriving congregation and remains a vibrant hub for prayer, learning, support, and celebration. As one of Australia’s most recognizable and visited Jewish landmarks, it has been a majestic feature of Sydney’s cityscape for over 140 years, facing Hyde Park with its striking architectural beauty. We are honoured to be entrusted with this significant project and extend our gratitude to the Board of Directors, Rabbi Dr. Benjamin Elton, David Lewis and Rabbi Menachem Feldman for the opportunity to contribute to this historic institution. Special thanks to Adam Pisk and George Bensen for their collaboration in bringing this vision to life.

Scope of Work

Stage 1 DA approved and the upgrade works will include:

Comprehensive external upgrades to the air-conditioning system across multiple levels
Central air-conditioning system upgrade
Roof replacement and associated groundworks
